The research in this project proposes to first apply the method developed by [Calori A., et al, 2013], automated according to [Granados G. et all, 2018] to monitor tropospheric water vapor over the continental region of America and the Caribbean, with sampling intervals of 1 hour and adding the tropospheric parameters (ZTD) estimated by 9 SIRGAS processing centers. Continuing the time series of the variable IWV from 2004 to the present.Secondly, it is proposed to develop a methodology that applying the PPP (Precise Point Positioning) technique [Bisnath, S. and Gao, Y., 2009], allows to estimate more quickly (with a delay of less than 24 hours) steam values of water with sampling intervals every 60 minutes, providing data for applications that require temporary immediacy and prediction. This is proposed to be applied in stations of the continent that are operating in real time. In this case the experience in permanent stations of Argentina will be initiated and then it will be extended to the rest of the region, in places that have a nearby meteorological station. Finally, in order to start the exploitation of the SLR and VLBI observations that will arise from the AGGO observatory (Argentine Geodetic Observatory) recently installed in the province of Buenos Aires, thanks to the cooperation between the CONICET and the BKG, of Germany , it is proposed to direct specialized training to carry out the first steps in the estimation of this variable through these modern techniques and their combination with GNSS.
