George Sand, célebre escritora francesa del siglo XIX, fue admirada por su carácter indómito y su talento innegable. Publicó un gran número de novelas, obras de teatro, cuentos, artículos y críticas. De esta vasta producción se destaca Historia de mi vida como testimonio de vida y, al mismo tiempo, como documento histórico y social.

From this vast production History of my Life can be singled out as a testimony of her life and, at the same time as a historical and social document.
